Beta Ratio Efficiency Converter
Two data sheets can print the same micron figure on different bases. Convert every beta ratio or capture efficiency to the same scale before you compare cartridges, using efficiency = (β − 1) ÷ β.

A beta ratio is only meaningful with its particle size and test method. If one supplier quotes β at 5 µm and another at 10 µm, the numbers do not compare, so ask for both at the same size.
